I got my first domain for free with Bluehost whn I bought their hosting package. After that I bought 2 new domains from Name.com.

I actually have two places that I purchase my domains. I use GoDaddy and Aplus.net They are both pretty good. GoDaddy has some various perks as does Aplus. Aplus just seems a little easier to deal with but I think they are both good. If you are looking to go cheap with a .info then certainly use GoDaddy although Aplus is cheaper on .com domains...

From what I know Godaddy isn’t selling any (dot) info right now.

I never heard of Aplus before. Are they cheaper and reliable?

Godaddy IS selling (dot) info domains they are $1.99 each. They always have and most likely always will. Aplus is very reliable and I use them often. They are cheaper on some things and more expensive on others. When buying a domain I don't think it should really be about if you can save $1 or $2 you need reliability and that's what you get with these two Good Luck!

You are right they are selling (dot) info right now. The last time that I did visit them was 2 months ago and they stop selling those (dot) info domain. It seems that they realize how many potential clients they are turning away by not selling one.

I have used GoDaddy for all of my domains and have no reason to go anywhere else at this point. I love when they have coupon codes out and you can get .coms even cheaper than usual.
