so i'm new to web design and need a bit of help. now that your over my "newbie" status i'll get to the question.....

i want to have a button, when clicked, change the contents of a table cell... is there a way to do this? i would like to be able to call in the contents of a seperate .html page.

Well, there are a few ways to do this. My first recommendation would be using a server side language such as PHP or ASP. If you wanted to use Javascript you could use an iframe or possibly AJAX. Are you familiar with any of those techniques?
